This time, a Camper from the manufacturer Eura Mobil came to our workshop in 97618 Niederlauer. The vehicle no longer had any power and could not drive faster than 50 km/h, so the first step for us was to find the cause of the malfunction.
After the diagnosis and a test drive, we suspected that the turbocharger was faulty and the first thing we had to do to was to reach it. This camper is based on a Fiat chassis and, as with many other Fiat models, the engine had to be removed first. Step by step, cross members, wishbones, tyres, particulate filters and a lot of wiring are collected in our workshop until we could confirm the defect and start the replacement.
The new turbocharger is installed, the removed parts are put back in place together with the engine in reverse order and the repair is complete.
