The vehicle jerks occasionally, enters the EMERGENCY mode every once in a while, shows errors on the display, has no proper power output and does not accelerate as it should. That was what the customer said. The MAN TGL with a tarpaulin setup came to our workshop with the above mentioned errors. After we connected the MAN to the TEXA diagnostic software to read the error, it was immediately clear where the problem was. The NOX sensor, also known as the exhaust gas sensor, is defective. The control unit received incorrect values from the sensor and put the vehicle into emergency mode, just to be on the safe side. We ordered a new exhaust gas sensor, installed it and cleared all errors within the diagnostic program. The vehicle runs properly once again.
